I see your basic colours
I admit it right away: I love colours and if I had a magic wand, I would put some more colours on each and every person’s outfits.
I think it is fascinating what difference a little bit of colour makes and how interesting an outfit looks, when you add some colour to it.
Thankfully we are all different when it comes to how much colourful clothes and accessories we want to purchase in order to mix a daily outfit.
If you are still with me after these lines and think “Are a lot of colours the only way to make my outfit look more interesting?” then the answer is “NO!”.
Basic colours such as black, navy, grey and white can make some outstanding and beautiful outfits if mixed in a certain way.
If you want to stand a little bit out of the crowd, but you are not ready to invest in colourful clothes items or accessories, I suggest you choose the following:
Choose one basic colour for your whole outfit (brown, black, navy, grey or white), but choose a different texture and fabric for each item or choose items in the same colour with interesting details.
Different texture, fabric and details will add something eye catching to your outfit and make it look interesting.
I hope this will give you some inspiration how to create beautiful outfits with your favourite basic colour.
